What moves God to answer our prayers?

"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God though us." 

11 Corinthians 2:20

There are times when we pray and still not get answers. I think you will agree with me that this is a common occurrence in many's prayer life.  This may happen more often in one's life that we conclude that it may not be God's will to give us our petitions. We come up with a number of reasons to justify our barrenness.

It doesn't matter how many times we have failed in our prayers; all the promises of God are yes and amen. God is saying "yes" to everyone who presents his petition to Him for His promises. God never say no to what He has promised. In other words, God never track back on His promises. WHPIWHG. What He promise is what He gives. 

God does not answer our prayers because we sounded emotional or desperate enough when we prayed. It doesn't matter how we sound. Our emotions don't add to anything with God. We may cry and disfigure our faces but it does not make any difference with God. God does not want us to act our feelings; He knows our feelings already. 

We don't get audience with God just because we are ugly enough in prayer or loud enough to scare Him. Some people think if they raise their voices high enough God will stop every thing and every angel in heaven and let every one rush to the "commotion" some of us make when we pray.

This is the first trick we learned when we first arrived on this earth. We cried when we needed attention; we cried when we needed some food. We would also cry when we felt insecure. In accounting, when we record some transactions and a page is full, we do what is called "carry over." We carry over the totals and reflect them as "brought forward" in the next page. Have you realized how some of us carried over the crying skill from childhood. The skill worked on our mothers and we think it will also work with God.

Am I saying it is wrong to cry when we pray? Certainly not. Many people in the bible cried when they were praying. A lot are still doing the same today. There is no problem crying when  in prayer as long as it is not used to attempt to arrest God's attention.

What moves God to answer prayers? There are two things that will sure move God;

1. His word. God respects His word. He says His word is like rain that will never come down on earth without leaving evident results. Isaiah 55:10-11. He says He watches His word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12
2. Faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6. Faith compels God to say amen to His promises vocalized into prayer by man. How shall we put it? Faith makes God say amen to a prayer of faith.

There is a way out!

God's Message Today

God’s message is for all the people of the world; rich and poor, educated and uneducated, wise and unwise, religious and non-religious, employed and unemployed, children and grown-ups. No one is excluded. It is a message of God’s love for mankind. All people everywhere are today invited to hear the Creator’s message - including you my friend. 

Man is trapped in an “instant gratification syndrome” and has lost control. He no longer knows how to stop. He knows all is not well but cannot admit and plead guilty. His life is dictated by habits - uncontrollable lifestyles; driven by greed, lust and pleasure. Though he restrains himself from none of these, his desires cannot be satisfied. The more he indulges, the more he wants and; the curtain is closing down. Man is heading for a countdown; his destiny is announced.

The spirit of insecurity operating through fear of failure, loss and death rules his mind. In his attempt to combat this, he strives for more knowledge, wealth, fame and power, hoping that these will bring him fulfilment and security. Little does he realize that power and all these come with an insatiable desire for more. The more you have the more you want.     

Man is twisting and turning in his own filth betrayed by his own so-called wisdom and intelligence. Sad to say; in trying to deliver himself, man exchanges God the Creator for the things God created, worshiping idols fashioned in the form of animals, birds, reptiles and more often the spirits of ancestors. Can man create himself a god?        

Can a child create for himself a parent? Without shame man is trying  to. Some; this retrenched angel called Satan has lured into false forms of worship. They want to serve  God but on their own terms; seeking to establish their own form of worship. Esteeming man’s tradition  above God’s word; they provoke God’s anger

Man is in a fast forward mode and he ignores warning signs. Without help, I am scared, this may be the last episode of his dreadful drama. He hopes for things to sort themselves out but his destruction is inevitable. Like empty clouds, man is drifting away.

But God; out of His love and mercy took notice of our predicament and sent His Son Jesus so that anyone who believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) God demonstrated His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8)

This is the message that saved me and many others. When I heard it I humbled myself before God and He pardoned me. (Matthew 11:20-30) When I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior, God accepted me as His very own child. One who was once lost is now found. One who was once blind can now see. If He did this for me who was first in many of these illicit behaviors, He will do the same for you.

God loves you so much He can’t wait. Why don’t you accept His plan of salvation today? He will make right what went wrong in your life. He will turn your life right side up -  your darkest night into broad-day light. Humble yourself on the side of the Lord and He will lift you up. Friend, it is by divine appointment that you are reading this brochure today. God is bringing this message to you today in order to open your prison door

that you may go free. The devil paid nothing for you and you will go free - without paying anything  If now God has provided this opportunity for you to avoid this endless struggle with sin, how then shall you escape if you pay no attention to such great salvation? (Hebrews 2:3)

Now is the day for a new beginning. You are invited to take advantage of this undeserved open period and cross the floor; from darkness to light, from death to life. I encourage you to respond to this invitation right here, right now and accept Jesuss as your Lord and Savior. In turn, God will accept you as His child. Yes, it’s time you put your relationship right with God. You must be born again

Maybe you don’t understand and you ask;

WHY MUST I BE BORN AGAIN? 

Because;

1. Man is a sinner (and you too)- Romans 3: 23

2. Sin kills (the wages of sin is death) -  Romans 6: 23

3. Man cannot save himself (you might have tried and it didn’t work) - Ephesians 2: 8-9

4. Christ died to save us ( including you)  - Romans 5: 8

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

1.Admit to God that you are guilty   - Proverbs 28:13; 1John 1:9

2. Believe in Jesus  as your Lord and Savior  - Acts 16: 30-31

3. Open your heart and receive Jesus  - Rev. 3: 20

4. Confess with your mouth that Jesus  is Lord- Romans  10: 9-13  

My friend, right where you are right now; will you sincerely open your mouth and pray this prayer asking God to give you another chance? He is faithful and just to forgive you and allow you to start all over again. He loves you.

Dear God in Heaven

I’ ve just read that You love me

All the time I thought You were angry with me

I never thought you could show interest in me

It’s true; I’m a sinner; I’ve been really bad

Forgive me and allow me to start all over again

I believe everything the bible says about Jesus

I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord

I believe He died on the cross to save me

I also believe He rose from the dead

I put my trust in Him to save me

I say Jesus; You are my Lord and Savior 

And I will always call you Master

Thank you for listening to me

1. Your sins are forgiven (Acts 10:43)

WELCOME IN THE FAMILY OF GOD

1. Read the bible  every day (Proverbs 4: 20-22)

2. Pray daily (Luke 21: 36)

3. Belong to God’s family (Ephesians 2:19)

4. Tell others what Jesus did for  you (Luke 12:8-9)

5. Make friends with saved people (1Cor. 15:33)

6. Do not continue to lead a sinful life (John 5: 14)

We thank God that you took this bold step. God heard your humble prayer. The bible says when you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. To be saved is to be on the safe side. It is to be out of danger zone. Praise God you are out of danger. You are saved. Read Romans 10:9-10. 

Will you tell others that you are on the safe side? Tell them how you got there; they might also want to be on the safe side like you. Tell them it is Jesus who accepted you in the Safe Camp. Tell them He can do the same for them too. The camp is not full yet.

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you into the family of God. There is a big welcome party in heaven for you. You are no longer a stranger - you are a child of God
